Terms and Conditions
As a transportation service, Mid-Ulster Concert Travel adheres to the regulations set by the Department of the Environment Northern Ireland (DOENI) for road transport, similar to all bus and coach companies.
By purchasing tickets, you agree to the following terms:
Booking and Travel
- Return Fares: Available exclusively online and are non-refundable.
- Booking Methods: Bookings can be made online. Tickets are not available from the driver.
- E-Tickets: After booking online, you will receive an email confirmation, which serves as your e-ticket. Always check your email for any travel updates.
- Age Restrictions: Any passengers under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a responsible person aged 18 or over. Children who are 16 years of age or over are allowed to travel on our services unaccompanied but should be appropriately prepared to travel on their own.
Facilities and Stops
- Toilets: Some buses have toilets, but this cannot be guaranteed on all concert routes. For the comfort of all passengers, the driver cannot stop for unscheduled restroom breaks or in non-designated areas such as the side of the road.
- Comfort Stops: En route stops are at the driver’s discretion. Stops are limited to 10 minutes, and it’s the passenger’s responsibility to return to the bus on time.
Safety and Conduct
- Safety Belts: Passengers must wear safety belts as required by law.
- Bag Searches: For the safety and comfort of all passengers, the bus company reserves the right to search bags prior to boarding. Any prohibited or restricted items, including alcohol, may be removed from carry-on luggage at the discretion of the company.
- Alcohol and Behaviour: Alcohol is prohibited on all buses. If alcohol is found during a bag search, it will be securely placed in the luggage compartment under the bus for the duration of the trip. Passengers will be able to retrieve their alcohol upon arrival at their destination. We will not tolerate aggressive or abusive behaviour.
- Food & Drink: Hot food and alcohol are not allowed on board.
- Luggage Storage: Passengers may choose to store their bags in the luggage compartment under the bus. Please ensure that any valuable or fragile items are kept in carry-on luggage. We don’t take responsibility for losses or damages.
Travel Details and Changes
- Pick-up Points: Drivers will only pick up passengers at locations where tickets have been purchased for, this means that the driver will not always shop at every stop listed on the on the website. It is important that you are at the location that you booked at, as changes can not always be accommodated.
- Timings: Concert travel dates and times are strict and cannot be changed unless by Mid-Ulster Concert Travel. Pick up times are as stated when booking and we aim to be at each pick up point on time with occasional delays due to traffic. Please be at pick up points at the time stated.
- Cancellations: Events may be cancelled if not feasible; notice will be given when possible.
- Rescheduled Events: For rescheduled concerts, original tickets remain valid, and new dates will be communicated via email.
Ticket Validity and Travel Conditions
- Booking Reference: Required when boarding. Travel is only permitted on the booked service and date.
- Pickup Locations: Not all buses pick up at all locations. Ensure you know your pickup point.
- Single Fares: Only full tickets are available; special single fares are not offered.
- No Alcohol/Smoking Policy: In compliance with DOE law, alcohol and smoking are prohibited on all coaches.
Return Travel
Return travel typically occurs from the drop-off location, but this may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Passengers will be informed by the driver or through communication from the company.
Responsibility
- Timeliness: Passengers must return to the coach after the concert ends, as Coaches will begin to depart 30 minutes after the concert ends.
- Communication: Ensure the contact number provided during booking is accessible throughout the trip.
For complete travel details, refer to your ticket. Conditions may change on the day of travel, and you will be notified accordingly. Concert travel tickets cannot be combined with other offers.
